ElenoticThe intelligence layer for distributed energy.

Energy is becoming distributed. Intelligence should connect it.

Elenotic is building an intelligence layer for distributed energy systems—helping generation, storage and consumption work together through prediction, optimization and learning.

Conceptual architecture of the system we are working toward.

Distributed energy is growing. The intelligence coordinating it is still fragmented.

A single home can now contain solar panels, batteries, grid electricity, generators, EVs, air conditioners, water pumps, water heaters, washing machines, refrigerators and other appliances. These assets often come from different manufacturers and ecosystems.

Fragmented energy management

The problem is not simply generating solar power. It is deciding, continuously, how to use what the system has.

How do you intelligently decide where every unit of available energy should go, now and in the future?

One home, many decisions

Take a conceptual household: solar is producing, the battery is partly charged, grid power is available, several appliances are running, an EV needs charging later, and tomorrow’s weather will change solar output. The best choice can change every few minutes.

At one moment

Surplus solar may be best used to charge the battery.

At another

It may be better to run a flexible appliance with that solar.

Later

Preserving battery energy for an expected outage or an expensive evening period may matter more.

To decide well, a system has to keep track of current state, future energy availability, future household demand, user preferences, electricity costs, battery constraints, appliance requirements and weather—and coordinate across all of them.

Our thesis: an intelligence layer, not another hardware ecosystem

Elenotic is building an intelligence layer that enables distributed energy systems to understand, coordinate and optimize generation, storage and consumption. It is designed to sit above heterogeneous assets rather than inside a single vendor’s stack.

Prediction asks

What is likely to happen?

Optimization asks

What should we do about it?

Our approach combines forecasting, optimization, machine learning and reinforcement learning, so that decisions can adapt rather than follow only static rules.
